Kumi Hospital provides comprehensive specialised healthcare services to approximately 4 million people in Eastern Uganda, rooted in the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.
Established in 1929 by the Church Missionary Society (CMS) as a leprosy center, Kumi Hospital has grown into a full-service general hospital serving the Teso region. We are a member of the Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau (UPMB) and accredited by the Ministry of Health.
For over 94 years, we have been involved in community health care, expanding our services from a center for the disabled to a comprehensive healthcare facility with 300 beds and 179 dedicated staff members.
